CAST IN PLACE CONCRETE
Cast in place concrete utilizes a framework mold on site that workers pour concrete into. A major advantage of cast in place is that practically any shape can be created. Cast in place is ideal for very large concrete objects as pre-cast components would be very difficult to transport.
Common Cast in Place Objects:
Walls
Large walls can be cast in place. This method is especially useful if the walls take on a curved or otherwise unique design.
Beams, Columns, Joints
Load bearing elements can be created using cast in place concrete. Cast in place structures can be reinforced with steel. Using concrete for all major structural elements greatly reduces construction complexity.
Foundations/Basements
Cast in place can be used from the ground up, starting with the foundation!

The only major disadvantage is the large amount of labor required to complete the project. Cast in place concrete requires a highly skilled crew.
